EXCELERATON
DELVES INTO
PARALYMPIC AND OTHER DISABLED SPORTS WITH REFRESHING CANDOR AND UNPARALLED
ACCESS
Through the lenses of the Exceleration cameras you can explore the high athletic pursuits of the disabled community. At the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California, 1984 Olympic 800-meter gold medalist Joaquim Cruz coaches Paralympian sprinters as they prepare for the World Championships in New Zealand. On the everyday playing fields, courts, and gyms around the globe Exceleration showcases athletes as they test their limits with hard work, discipline, commitment, and determination. These are athletes for whom physical disability is just one more hurdle to overcome on the way to the victory podium.
Hosted by Emmy-award winning broadcasters Bob Molinatti, a two-time Los Angeles Marathon wheelchair champion, and world renowned running journalist Toni Reavis, Exceleration brings to FSN audiences a rare look into the world of hard knocks, grueling training, scientific advancement, and life-changing epiphanies which attend sport at the highest level.
